google maps brings you the poor pathfinding
Last night i was going back home a little bit drunk, so i decided to let google maps to take me there expecting that was the better path.
Today morning i checked the path again in google maps using the “by foot” option and i saw the path was easily improvable just forcing some waypoints. In result: i walked 2,7 km instead of 2,0 km.
This proves it’s not a problem of paths data in GMaps databases but an algorythmic problem.

Nice Google xploit. All the algorithms have little problems and is difficult to catch these on the fly.
