Ya sé que estas cosas se hacen cerca de Navidad, pero acabo de darle la primera escucha y no necesito ni la segunda para saber que será mi disco del 2009.

No voy a perder el tiempo describiendo lo inconmensurable que es.

opentape, wise rage against the RIAA

You probably know that muxtape is closed some weeks ago due to a legal conflict with the RIAA (one more).
The RIAA will probably win this match, but they won’t be able to deal with thousands of “muxtapes” for sure. So the brilliant strategy of muxtape’s founders has been openning the code free to download. This has been called Opentape.

muxtape: the day we analogize digital music
Vintage formats takes over the weblife.
Let me link some other “must listen” muxtapes:
Or if you’re feeling lucky… try this.
songza: an unhosted music platform
Doubtless, Songza is the better way to locate and share a song through the net.
And Logh is a nice pick for the example.
perfect soundtrack for a travel
Arcade Fire – Born On A Train
(cover from The Magnetic Fields)
Some roads are only seen at night.
Ghost roads, nothing but neon signs.
But some nights the neon gas gets free-
Turns into walking dead like me.
And I’ve been makin’ promises I know I’ll never keep.
One of these days I’m gonna leave you in your sleep.
I have to go when the whistle blows-
The whistle knows my name.
Baby, I was born on a train.
I know that you were never young,
And I know you probably won’t get old.
But honey, nobody’s gonna hurt you anymore.
And nobody’s gonna make you wanna die.
But I’ve been makin’ promises I know I’ll never keep.
One of these days I’m gonna leave you in your sleep.
I have to go when the whistle blows-
The whistle knows my name.
Baby, I was born on a train.
I’ll go one cold and gray morning.
And you won’t remember anything.
But some people don’t believe in time.
And some of us don’t believe in life.
But I’ve been makin’ promises I know I’ll never keep.
One of these days I’m gonna leave you in your sleep.
I have to go when the whistle blows-
The whistle knows my name.
Baby, I was born on a train…
Baby, I was born on a train…
